I have purchased everything out there.... and have even tried the lake mower. The AVG is by far the best. I cleared an impassible pass that was 40' x 40' in less than an hour. It took three hours to get all the weeds out of the water. Very very impressive. High quality engine too. Tim - Wisconsin

I have purchased an AVG and cannot believe the productivity. After less than two hours I cleared an area of 50' x 50' of celery grass that was so thick it was nearly impossible to even walk through. The circular scissor action of the blade has totally eliminated weeds becoming tangle in a spinning shaft which was a major problem when I tried to use a standard weed whip. The flexibility is awesome. It not only allows me to cut under my dock and around my boat lift but I can also use the AVG to do normal trimming around my lake home and not have the problem of replacing trimmer line. I thought the blade size would be an issue but I realized that two people could not gather the weeds as fast as I could cut. Thanks to the AVG my grandchildren are now able to swim and fish off my dock! Thanks for a great product! Doug - Minnesota
Using the AVG on floats makes it so easy to cut ANY weeds. I use it from my pontoon with a 12' pole. I can cut wherever I want to go with this set up. It looks like I am using a vaccum cleaner because I am using the same motion. Prior to the AVG, cutting was the challenge but clean up was the easy part. This thing cuts so much so fast, It now takes me longer to rake the weeds than it does to cut my entire shoreline. When the new rake attachement becomes available, count me in! Michael - Florida
I have never been able to find a way to manage my cattails so they had overtaken my pond and it looked like there was no stopping them. With the AVG, I can cut them without effort and keep it maintained the way I want them to be. I am impressed with how easy it operates, how low of RPM's that I can run it at and not get it stuck or snarled up. Thanks BW
